Founded: 1991 by Barbara Larsen

One day as I was walking down the hall of a local skilled nursing facility to visit one of my clients, I passed a social worker whom I did not recognize. A spontaneous question arose in my mind: Why don't I know this woman who may be a valuable colleague? I sensed that those of us who are health care professionals need to come together for support and advocacy, as we, in turn, support and advocate for the family caregivers and their loved ones.  The Elder Care Providers' Coalition is the result of that encounter.

Meetings are held on the 2nd Wednesday of every month from 11:45 - 1 pm at:

Atria of Grass Valley

150 Sutton Way

Grass Valley

We have this meeting during lunch and we encourage you to bring a lunch and a drink.

Our meetings are every month September through July.

We will cancel the meeting if

it is a snow day.

The mission of the Elder Care Providers' Coalition is to provide access to education and resources for professional care providers in order that they may enhance the quality of services for older adults and family members of Nevada County.
